We found a new diet program online titled “Stop Fat Storage”. There isn’t a lot of detail about it on the website so we bought the program. And most of the reviews online aren’t very helpful. So we wrote our own!
The following is our review of Stop Fat Storage. Due to copyright issues we can’t tell you every last detail about the program. But we hope this review will give you an idea of whether or not it’s worth your while.
The last thing you need is to get your hopes up for some miracle diet only to be let down in the end. And the idea of losing your belly fat by doing some “simple fix” sounds more than a little suspicious.
So let’s take a look.
About Stop Fat Storage
As you’ve probably seen, the program is all about fixing your HSD enzyme levels, in turn reducing fat storage.
Reduce the enzyme, reduce belly fat. And reducing the enzyme just requires their “3 simple tips to shut off your fat storing enzyme” and a drink that supposedly helps modulate stress hormones.
The creators of this product are from a naturopathic clinic in New Zealand. They say they have used this formula to bring many patients back from the brink of health collapse – and lose a ton of weight in the process.
This is a digital product that you can access immediately after purchase. It is an ebook that covers all the details, including how to make the drink.
They insist that this is not a fat burner because their formula works along a natural pathway in your body – no stimulants or anything like that. We would have to agree: this is not a typical fat burner.

The first place you should start is their “30 Second HSD Deactivating System” ebook. In fact, it looks like you could have all the success you need with this first book alone.
The HSD deactivating system gives you an introduction to losing weight by targeting this enzyme. They mention that by their 30s and 40s, studies show that women’s bodies produce 300% more HSD than when they were younger (and men, too, produce more).
In this program, you address HSD through changing your diet. There are a number of foods and drinks that do this, and they give you lots of recipes in the book. There are also a few foods to avoid if you want this to work, and they tell you what those are, too.
The HSD deactivation system ebook is a mix of information, food recommendations, and recipes, all about deactivating the HSD enzyme. It also tells you about thyroid, testosterone and estrogen levels and how they affect weight and health.
In addition to that, there is a book of lunch recipes, dinner recipes, and desserts, that will keep your HSD levels in check.
There are also ebooks guiding you how to balance testosterone, estrogen, and thyroid levels through diet. These books also include detailed meal plans.
Stop Fat Storage Exercises
Changing your diet is critical to making Stop Fat Storage work, but there is also an exercise component. In our opinion, the exercises are a good way to accelerate the process, but you should still see results sticking with just the diet plans.
The exercises you do are fairly simple, using mostly body weight. You can make them as challenging as you want, but they are going to be ideal for those of us who aren’t regular gym-goers.
A video will demonstrate the exercises for you and explain how much of everything you should do.
Go easy on this. If you’re not used to exercising, even just doing a little bit of this stuff will pay off. But the last thing you want to do is injure yourself and increase your stress levels.
The diet plans are very detailed. To the point where you won’t need to come up with anything on your own, because it’s all there. That’s a good thing, in our opinion, because it leaves nothing to chance.
We also like the focus on hormonal regulation. This is one of the most often overlooked parts of weight loss. Calorie counting and fads simply will not work if you are feeling stressed all the time. The fact is, most of us have hormones that are way out of whack, which is part of the reason why there is such an obesity epidemic right now.
They go above-and-beyond with their information about hormones and weight loss. It even tells you what your optimal blood levels should be, and how to reach them. You might get even more out of this program if you have had bloodwork done recently so you know your hormone levels.
The exercises are simple and should be plenty for beginners.
All in all, there are a lot of things that make this a good diet for men and women 35 and older.
One thing that’s missing is strong evidence that their method works.
There is plenty of evidence that they’re right about HSD enzymes, thyroid levels, testosterone and estrogen being important. But how do we know that their specific recommendations are any good?
Some of it is obvious. They basically recommend switching to healthier foods, with some specific ones to eat more of, and others to avoid. We already know that cutting junk food out of your diet and eating nutritious food will go a long way toward losing weight. So why is this any better?
The answer is: we don’t know. There are a lot of testimonials and case studies on their website, but that’s all we have to go on.
Another complaint we have is that they probably oversimplify things. Hormone levels are caused by incredibly complicated processes in the body. Sure, their recommendations can probably help, but we recommend consulting with a medical professional if you are truly concerned that your weight issues are due to hormonal causes.
Final Conclusion: Should You Try It?
Without a doubt, Stop Fat Storage is an intriguing idea. We wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to get it just to see what the HSD deactivation method is all about.
But like we mentioned above, too many of the claims are unverifiable. It is hard to recommend this program without seeing more studies about their exact approach.
